Start Spreading the News: Students participating in ENACT programs at United Way of New York City’s Attendance Improvement Dropout Prevention (AIDP) sites now have a new way to tell their stories. Starting this fall, each of the sites will write, edit, and publish its own newsletter. The newsletters, which will be distributed to parents, school staff, and students, will document and comment on their ENACT experiences. In the process, the students will also be getting hands-on experience in producing a newsletter, and sharpening their written communications skills.
